Poem of the Month
The Weight of It All
The world spins fast, a dizzying blur, A thousand tasks, a constant stir. My shoulders ache, my mind takes flight, Lost in the shadows of the night. The pressure mounts, a heavy cloak, A silent scream, a choked-up choke. I feel the strain, the rising tide, Where do I go? Where can I hide? But in this storm, a choice I see, To breathe, to pause, to simply be. To acknowledge the weight, the fear, And find a path, a gentle steer. Not to escape, but to embrace, The chaos, the struggle, the space. To find my anchor, strong and deep, And let the worries gently sleep. For in the quiet, I will find, The strength to rise, to leave behind, The burden that weighs me down so low, And watch the seeds of peace begin to grow.
